In the brand’s words: “A caffeine-free soda that provides a crisp, clear burst of lemon lime flavor.”

The two calorie figures

The ordering menu prints a calorie figure of zero for Starry. That zero is not a figure: the size is chosen on the product page, so the category listing has nothing to count until it is. The nutrition menu carries three records for it, 16 fl oz at 200 calories, 20 fl oz at 240 calories and 30 fl oz at 370 calories.

This page treats the zero as what it is and prints the record for the first size instead; every ranking on the site does the same. Two notes from the nutrition guide apply to every fountain drink: “Nutrition values for fountain beverages do not account for ice.” “Depending on the sodium content of the water where the beverage is dispensed, the actual sodium content may be higher or lower than the listed values.”

Starry: listed at 442 of the 452 restaurants read, in 50 states and DC, read 19 September 2026. That makes it a core item: on nine in ten of the restaurant menus read or more.

By state median, Ohio was lowest at $2.59 and Alaska highest at $3.29. A state median stands on ten restaurants at most, so a single expensive or cheap restaurant moves it; the national range is the safer figure. What the price buys

By median price Starry ranks 21st of 35 in Drinks. The section median is $2.99, so it is right at the middle. At the median price it costs $1.50 per 100 calories.

Taco Bell’s Happier Hour page says: “Get any Regular Freeze or Medium Fountain Drink for just $1 during Happier Hour, every day from 2 to 5 PM at participating locations.” That window is a time-of-day price, not the list price, and it is stated by the brand rather than read from a menu, so it sits in this sentence and not in the range above.

The record against a day

200 calories is 10 percent of a 2,000 calorie day and 2 percent of the 2,300 mg sodium limit the FDA uses for the daily value. Sugars are 52 g, of which 52 g are added.

The Drinks median for sodium is 70 mg; this one is 45.

Allergens and certification

Taco Bell publishes no allergen statement for Starry: it is not in the allergen tool and its record carries no allergen table. This site never marks an item free of anything without a statement, so it sits out of every allergen filter here. The guide’s general note still applies to it: “Peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish are not used in regular menu items served in Taco Bell restaurants.”
